Top Chinese newspaper says U.S. forcing China to accelerate South China Sea deployments
China's top newspaper, decrying Washington as a troublemaker, said on Monday that U.S. moves in the South China Sea like last week's so-called freedom of navigation operation will only cause Beijing to strengthen its deployments in the disputed waterway.
