Tochigi police suspect two men held over theft linked to similar crimes
The Tochigi police formed a joint investigation team with the Gunma and Nagano prefectural police after similar cases were reported in their respective prefectures.
Fukushima Prefectural Police are looking into any possible connections between Tuesday's robbery in rural Minamiaizu and a spate of similar cases in nearby prefectures that started late last month.

Some 45 sports-type bicycles were stolen between October and January around train stations in Tokyo's Toshima Ward, including ones that were locked, according to police.
