France's National Institute of Sport launched a program in 2020 to track and learn from the menstrual cycles of athletes.

Ohashi won the 200 IM in 2 minutes, 9.17 seconds, well inside the qualifying time of 2:10.70.
Daiya Seto touched the wall in 1 minute, 56.87 seconds, well inside the Olympic qualifying time of 1:57.51, on the second-to-last day of the trials at Tokyo Aquatics Centre.
