Veteran actor Harry Dean Stanton dies at 91
Harry Dean Stanton, whose scruffy looks and off-beat demeanor made him a favorite of directors seeking a character actor to add eccentricity or melancholy to the screen, died on Friday from natural causes, his agent said. He was 91.

Dick Gregory, a comedian who lambasted racism and played a prominent role in the 1960s civil rights movement after becoming one of the first black comics to perform for white audiences, died on Saturday at age 84, his son said.
