Hope fades for missing Indonesian submarine as U.S. assists search
The United States is deploying a P-8 Poseidon aircraft to assist in the search and rescue operation for a missing Indonesian Navy submarine lost in the Bali Sea, as hopes fade for the 53 crew which are expected to have run out of oxygen early on Saturday.

Time running out for missing Indonesian submarine
Rescue teams from several countries were battling against time on Friday to find a missing Indonesian Navy submarine lost in the Bali Sea with 53 crew members, which would be rapidly running out of oxygen if not already crushed by water pressure.

Filipino families of crew from ship that sank off Japan plead for search to resume
Families of 39 Filipino crewmen who were aboard a cattle ship that sank during a typhoon are pleading for a search to continue and to expand into uninhabited islands and nearby waters, two weeks after their vessel capsized off Japan.
