The Detroit Lions survived a late rally from the Chicago Bears, thanks to a little piece of good fortune, to make it ten wins a row with a 23-20 victory at home on Thursday.

The opening game of a trio of Thanksgiving Day clashes went down to the wire, but Chicago made a mess of its final possession, allowing Detroit to move to 11-1 on the season for the first time in franchise history.

"It was a crazy ending and we fought hard to the end to get it done. (But) it was scary," Lions quarterback Jared Goff admitted.
