Fans in Japan got the chance to witness some of the biggest names in skateboarding up close this weekend as Street League Skateboarding made a tour stop in Tokyo for the second straight year.

Brazil’s Rayssa Leal won the title for the women while hometown favorite Sora Shirai did the same for the men, outscoring double Olympic champion Yuto Horigome by 0.5 points, at the penultimate stop on the SLS Championship Tour. The global tour featuring eight stops ends with the two-day Super Crown World Championship in Sao Paulo on Dec. 14 and 15.

Leal and Australia’s Chloe Covell are among the breakout stars in the women’s scene. The two street skateboarders have very different vibes, but they have one thing in common: They are impressed by Japan’s female talents but not threatened by them.
