Shohei Ohtani should be ready to go in Game 3 of the World Series.
Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters on Sunday that Ohtani, who suffered a left shoulder subluxation (defined as a partial dislocation) during Game 2 against the New York Yankees on Saturday night should be available for Game 3 at Yankee Stadium on Monday.
“That's my expectation, talking to the training staff and getting the reports,” Roberts said during a news conference at Yankee Stadium on Sunday. “So I just know — if it's a pain tolerance situation, I just don't see him not playing Game 3.”
