Shohei Ohtani, Enrique Hernandez and Max Muncy connected on home runs to power the Los Angeles Dodgers over the New York Mets 8-0 on Wednesday to grab the lead in the National League Championship Series.

Hernandez crushed a two-run blast in the sixth inning, Ohtani delivered a towering three-run shot just inside the foul pole in right field in the eighth and Max Muncy bashed a solo homer in the ninth to spark Los Angeles.

The blowout victory gave the Dodgers a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series, which continues in New York on Thursday.
