Yokozuna Terunofuji has hogged the limelight since the opening day of the Nagoya Grand Sumo Tournament.
The veteran was in vintage form through the first 10 days, simply overwhelming opponents and appearing impervious to all manner of attacks.
With a two-win lead over ozeki Kotozakura through Tuesday’s bouts, Terunofuji could claim the Emperor’s Cup as early as Thursday.
