Iga Swiatek will play first-time Grand Slam finalist Jasmine Paolini as she goes in search of a third straight French Open title.
World No. 1 Swiatek defeated U.S. Open champion Coco Gauff 6-2, 6-4 to extend her winning streak in Paris to 20 matches and continue her dominance of her American rival.
Swiatek has now won 11 of her 12 matches against Gauff — all in straight sets — and could become only the fourth woman in the Open Era to win four French Open titles after Justine Henin, Chris Evert and Steffi Graf.
