Jets coach Robert Saleh envisions Aaron Rodgers breaking the huddle as his quarterback again next season, and a "heartbroken" Rodgers is thinking in a similar vein.
Rodgers faces a nine-month recovery from a torn Achilles after leaving Monday's game against the Buffalo Bills, his first since being traded to the Jets from the Green Bay Packers, with a season-ending injury. He was placed on injured reserve on Tuesday.
Saleh said he doubts the veteran quarterback will decide to retire.
