Canadian driver Nicholas Latifi spoke out on Tuesday about the death threats and online abuse he's received because of his crash during the late stages of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, which resulted in Red Bull's Max Verstappen winning the Dec. 12 race and the Formula One title and Lewis Hamilton missing out.
The Williams driver's crash brought out the safety car late in the race, and a change in procedure gave Verstappen the opportunity to pass Mercedes' Hamilton on the last lap.
Hamilton had been heading toward his record eighth title prior to Latifi's crash.
