Neeraj Chopra has been training hard for this year's Olympic Games but India's top javelin thrower fears that not being able to compete internationally might compromise his bid for a medal in Tokyo.
The 23-year-old has been starved of international competition since securing his Olympic qualification in South Africa early last year, which followed an entire 2019 lost because of an elbow injury.
Chopra recorded his personal best of 88.07 meters in a domestic event in Patiala in March this year but has not been able to assess himself against his international rivals.
