Former Sweden manager Lars Lagerback has warned Japan that his countrymen will bring skill as well as steel to their do-or-die Olympic soccer clash on Wednesday.
Japan came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Colombia on Sunday to keep its chances of reaching the quarterfinals alive in Brazil, with Makoto Teguramori's side almost certainly needing to beat Sweden in Salvador to stand any chance of progressing.
But Lagerback, who managed Sweden from 1998 to 2009, including two World Cups and three European Championships, believes there is more to his country's Olympic team than just brute force after developing players with precision as well as power.
