Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko will attend their first Japan test match on June 25 when the Brave Blossoms take on Scotland at Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo, the Japan Rugby Football Union announced Friday.

It will be the imperial couple's second time to attend a rugby match after they watched Kobe Steel Kobelco Steelers defeat Yamaha Jubilo 28-26 at Prince Chichibu Memorial Rugby Ground on Feb. 23, 2014 in the second round of the national championship.

The Brave Blossoms will face Scotland, the only team to beat them at last year's World Cup in England, at Toyota Stadium on Saturday before meeting again a week later.
