Kejuan Johnson, the bj-league's 2014-15 regular-season MVP while playing for the Sendai 89ers, delivered a big, bold reminder of his talent and impact on Saturday night.
Now an integral part of the Hamamatsu Higashimikawa Phoenix's lineup, Johnson had team-high totals in points (20), rebounds (10) and assists (five) in a 65-57 victory over the Kyoto Hannaryz.
Toshifumi Kawamitsu chipped in with 12 points and Reggie Warren and DeAngelo Kirkland both had nine for the Phoenix (30-13) in Toyokawa, Aichi Prefecture.
