George Washington University sophomore forward Yuta Watanabe has helped the Colonials open the 2015-16 college basketball season with four consecutive victories.
A starter, Watanabe is averaging 6.8 points and 4.8 rebounds in 24 minutes. He has six assists, five blocks and four steals.
The Colonials have rattled off victories over Lafayette (85-76), Virginia (73-68), Southern Florida (73-67) and Army (92-81). On Sunday, the 203-cm Watanabe scored a season-high eight points against Army.
