The Kanazawa Samuraiz, a first-year franchise, improved to 5-5 after a second rout on the road in as many days over the expansion Hiroshima Lightning, winning 114-84 on Friday night.
Kanazawa out-rebounded the hosts 55-32 and finished with 21 assists to their five.
The Samuraiz, led by first-year coach Yukinori Suzuki, shot 9-for-15 from 3-point range and made 53.1 percent of their shots from inside the arc.
Kanazawa big man Andrew Fitzgerald, a University of Oklahoma alum, had a game-high 33 points on 14-for-25 shooting and grabbed 11 rebounds. Yusuke Kodera added 19 points, including 4 of 7 3s, and Yuji Ide poured in 17 points. Gyno Pomare contributed 14 points and Marshall Brown had 13.
The Lightning (1-9) trailed 70-35 at halftime.
Andre Murray paced Hiroshima with 28 points and pulled down 13 rebounds and Adam Herman poured in 25 points.
