Gamba Osaka substitute Patric scored in the 95th minute to claim a 1-1 draw and deny Yokohama F. Marinos a fifth straight J. League win on Saturday.
A 20th-minute penalty converted by Ademilson looked to have secured the three points for Marinos at Nissan Stadium, only for Patric to turn home a Yasuhito Endo free kick with practically the last kick of the game.
The result did little for either team's chances of winning the league's first stage, as Urawa Reds tightened their iron grip on first place after coming from behind to crush Sagan Tosu 6-1 and open up a six-point gap at the top.
