Tetsuya Takahashi has joined Kyoto Hannaryz bench boss Honoo Hamaguchi's staff as an assistant coach, the bj-league team announced on Friday.
Takahashi, who turns 30 on Aug. 1, served as the Osaka Kyoiku University men's basketball head coach from April 2008 to last month.
The Hannaryz (38-8) are in first place in the Western Conference. They have a bye this weekend and play host to the Shimane Susanoo Magic on April 11-12.
