Shohei Otani and Hiromi Oka each homered in a four-run second inning as the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters held on to beat the Chiba Lotte Marines 4-3 on Wednesday.
Before 14,244 on a rainy afternoon at QVC Marine Field, Otani hit a solo shot off Takahiro Fujioka to open the second and Oka capped the inning with his first career home run, a three-run shot.
The Fighters improved to 3-2 on the young season.
