The free agency period in the NFL is set to open as the new league year starts on Tuesday. As usual, it presents teams with a dilemma of needs and money, where one's loss is another's gain.
The Lions appear to be losing a pair of defensive tackles in Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley, core members on the defensive line of the NFL's No. 2 defense. Suh is reportedly heading to Miami, and Fairley has also drawn interest from teams, with the Colts reportedly prepared to outbid the competition.
