Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto is still looking for his first victory in UFC.
The mixed martial arts great had hoped to finally taste victory in his fourth attempt in the UFC Octagon on Saturday at UFC 184, but instead saw his bout against Roman Salazar (9-3) end in a no contest after an accidental eye poke rendered his opponent unable to continue in the second round.
Yamamoto has an overall record of 18-6, with a pair of fights ending in no contests, but remains 0-3 in UFC.
Once among the most popular fighters in the world, Yamamoto hasn't won since a first-round knockout of Frederico Lopez at Dream 14 in Saitama on May 29, 2010.
