The Fujitsu Frontiers have found some missing pieces to the puzzle and are a completely different —and better — team this year.
And those pieces aren't just newly acquired American players in quarterback Colby Cameron and defensive end Austin Flynn, both of whom participated in NFL camps.
The acquisition of Thom Kaumeyer, a former NFL defensive back and coach, was as crucial for the Frontiers, who will seek their first-ever X League championship against the IBM BigBlue in the Japan X Bowl on Monday at Tokyo Dome. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
