Jeral Davis enjoyed a successful debut with the Sendai 89ers on Saturday.
The 216-cm big man produced a double-double (11 points, 10 rebounds) in 21-plus minutes, swatted two shots and helped the Sendai 89ers thump the visiting Bambitious Nara 91-67.
Davis, a Talladega College alum, spent the previous four seasons with the Shimane Susanoo Magic, and got a late start to the current campaign while recovering from a hip injury last season.
