When Kei Nishikori became the first Asian man to break into the top 10 in the ATP Tour rankings back in May, he said his next goal was to make the top five.
Less than six months later, he has done it.
Nishikori was ranked a career-high fifth when the ATP rankings were released on Monday morning. It was yet another milestone in what has been a fantastic year for the Shimane native.
