Forward Jeremy Tyler is on the move again. This time, he's headed to China for the 2014-15 basketball season, Yahoo Sports has reported.
Tyler, who was signed by the Los Angeles Lakers in September, appeared in three preseason games with the NBA club, then didn't play on Sunday against the Utah Jazz. The 23-year-old center averaged 2.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 9.3 minutes in those three games. The Lakers waived Tyler on Monday, enabling him to pursue a deal in China, according to the report.
The San Diego native played for the now-defunct Tokyo Apache during the 2010-11 bj-league season. He's also suited up for the Golden State Warriors, Atlanta Hawks and New York Knicks.
