The top players in the world, minus injured Wimbledon champion Andy Murray, will be vying for the title this week at the prestigious Shanghai Rolex Masters.
Top seed and defending champion Novak Djokovic will try to best second seed and world No. 1 Rafael Nadal for the second straight tournament, after scoring a decisive 6-3, 6-4 victory over the Spaniard at the China Open in Beijing on Sunday.
Because Djokovic won here last year, taking the maximum 1,000 points, he will not be able to retake the top ranking from Nadal this week as he must triumph again just to retain his points in the 64-man event.
