Forward Dameion Baker, a key player on the now-defunct Tokyo Apache's two championship runnerup teams during the Joe Bryant era, scored a team-high 21 points on 9-for-15 shooting for Saitama, and Nyika Williams and Yuki Kitamuki each had 18 points.
The Broncos hadn't won a basketball game since a one-point triumph over the visiting Toyama Grouses on Nov. 17.
