The Texas Rangers have not decided whether to bring back relievers Koji Uehara and Yoshinori Tateyama for next season, general manager Jon Daniels said Tuesday.

The 37-year-old Uehara is a free agent. The Rangers have a team option for 2013 on Tateyama, 36, in what would be his third season in the majors.

Set-up man Uehara had one save and posted a 1.75 ERA in 37 appearances, while Tateyama went 1-0 with a 9.00 ERA in 14 games.

The Rangers lost the American League West title to the Oakland Athletics down the stretch of the regular season, and were beaten by the Baltimore Orioles in the wild-card game.
