Swallows right-hander Shohei Tateyama had a highlight in what has been a disappointing season on Saturday when he went the distance in Tokyo Yakult's 1-0 victory over the Chunichi Dragons at Nagoya Dome.

The Swallows managed just two hits in eight innings against Dragons right-hander Shinji Iwata (5-4), and cashed in on their only real scoring opportunity against him in the fourth.

Lastings Milledge drew a leadoff walk, went to third on a single by Kazuhiro Hatakeyama, and came home on a sacrifice fly by Shingo Kawabata.
