Chunichi's Kazuki Yoshimi maintained his mastery over the Yomiuri Giants on Wednesday night, when he held them to a run on six hits, helping the Dragons snap a three-game losing streak with a 6-1 victory at Nagoya Dome.

Yoshimi (9-4) improved to 3-1 with a 1.46 ERA against in five starts against the Giants this season. The 28-year-old struck out six and walked a batter en route to his fifth complete game of the year and his second against Yomiuri.

The right-hander escaped a one-out, bases-loaded jam in the first inning when he got Shuichi Murata to ground into an inning-ending double play, and his teammates seized control of the game in the home half.
