FC Tokyo said Sunday Brazilian striker Edmilson, who previously had stints with Albirex Niigata and Urawa Reds, will join the J. League top division club on loan from Al-Gharafa Sports Club in the Qatar Stars League.
The 29-year-old Edmilson will be on loan until Jan. 1, 2013.
Edmilson played for Niigata from 2004 to 2007 and joined Urawa in 2008, where he played until midway through last season. He has 109 goals in 226 J. League first-division matches.
