Tatsuya Oishi, the big star of Japan's 2010 amateur draft, finally broke into the win column on Sunday.

The Seibu right-hander retired five of the six batters he faced in relief as the Lions laid waste to Tohoku Rakuten's bullpen in a 9-5 rout at Seibu Dome.

Oishi, who was named by six teams as their top pick in 2010, came on in relief of lefty Yusei Kikuchi, the Lions No. 1 pick in 2009, with Seibu trailing 5-3, one out and a runner on first. Oishi worked 1-2/3 innings, and the Lions scored five times in the bottom of the sixth to turn the game on its head.
