Vegalta Sendai maintained their two-point cushion at the top of the table as the J.League leaders drew 0-0 at Urawa Reds on Saturday.

Makoto Teguramori's men managed to pick up a point from a drab affair against the former Asian champions, improving to 31 points from 15 games.

Vegalta were able to hold on to first after second-place Sanfrecce Hiroshima were also held to a goalless draw by Ardija in Omiya. Reds, in third, remained five points off the pace.
