Wily Mo Pena, Kenta Nakanishi and Nobuhiro Matsuda each homered as the Softbank Hawks romped to 7-3 victory over the Rakuten Eagles on Sunday.
Pena hit a two-run drive that overturned a 1-0 deficit in the first inning, and Nakanishi went deep with a solo blast in the second. Matsuda added a leadoff shot — the third home run of the day off Takahiro Shiomi (3-3) — in the fourth at Yahoo Dome.
Matsuda, who also tripled and singled in the first and sixth respectively, came within a double of the cycle.
