Baltimore Orioles pitcher Tsuyoshi Wada will make his spring debut on Sunday against the Atlanta Braves, the Baltimore Sun reported in its online edition Friday.

The 31-year-old former Fukuoka Softbank Hawks lefty has been sidelined from Grapefruit League action this spring due to elbow inflammation. Since receiving a cortisone shot and having fluid drained from his elbow in late February, Wada has made a gradual return to pitching.

Wada threw 33 pitches in a simulated game on Wednesday and tossed a light side session on Friday, without any reported elbow problems.
