John Flowers scored 34 points and John "Helicopter" Humphrey poured in 31 as the visiting Saitama Broncos defeated the Chiba Jets 93-79 on Friday night in the bj-league.
Saitama, which trailed 15-4 early in the game, scored 64 second-half points and held the hosts to 40.
Daiki Terashita added eight points for the Broncos (8-19) and backup point guard Darin Satoshi Maki contributed five points, six rebounds and six assists in a season-high 29 minutes. Ex-NBA point guard Kenny Satterfield was a non-factor with zero points on 0-for-5 shooting in 10 minutes. Center James Porter had six points, seven rebounds, two steals and a blocked shot in his first game for Saitama.
Maurice Hargrow paced Chiba with 25 points. Jamel Staten added 22 points and 10 rebounds and Antoine Broxsie, a former Broncos, had 11 boards and six points in his Jets debut. Chiba coach Eric Gardow picked up two technical fouls and was ejected as the Jets fell to 11-16.
