Left-handed pitcher Tsuyoshi Wada will sign a two-year, $8.15 million contract with the Baltimore Orioles, the Baltimore Sun reported Tuesday in its electronic edition.
According to the report, Wada's deal includes a $5 million option for the 2014 season.
Wada, 30, qualified for international free agency after nine years with the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks.
This season, he went 16-5 with a 1.51 ERA in 26 starts, helping lead Softbank to its first Japan Series title in eight years.
