The Big Bulls defeated the host Saitama Broncos 83-81 after surrendering 100 points in the series opener.
Leading the Iwate charge was Thomas Kennedy, who scored 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Kennedy leads coach Vlasios Vlaikidis' team with 16.0 points per game. But Sunday's triumph was far from a one-man show.
