KCC Egis scored 46 second-half points en route to a 76-69 win on Sunday over the Hamamatsu Higashimikawa Phoenix as the Korean squad swept the 2011 bj-league/KBL championship series.
Hamamatsu, the two-time defending bj-league champion lost the series' first game on Thursday, 75-65 in Shizuoka. The rematch was played in Shibukawa, Gunma Prefecture, a year before the local expansion team, Gunma CraneThunders joins the bj-league.
Wayne Arnold paced the Phoenix with 20 points. Atsuya Ota added 13 points and Jeffrey Parmer, the league's 2010-11 regular-season and Final Four MVP, scored 12.
