Japan international Hiroshi Kiyotake scored twice as Cerezo Osaka came from behind three times to take the first leg of their Asian Champions League quarterfinal with a thrilling 4-3 win over South Korea's Jeonbuk Motors on Wednesday.

Kim Bo Kyung pulled Cerezo level for a third time from the penalty spot after Seo Jung Jin had handled a free kick midway through the second half and Kiyotake completed his brace to seal victory in the late stages.

"There are a few regrets but I am happy that we won. The winning goal was straight off the training ground. We just have to play away now and keep a clean sheet and try and score."

Cerezo and Jeonbuk meet again in the second leg on Sept. 27 with the winners to meet either FC Seoul or Saudi Arabia's Al Ittihad in the two-leg semis set for Oct. 19 and 26.
