Atsushi Nomi threw no-hit ball for seven innings and helped his own cause with an RBI single as the Hanshin Tigers shut out the Chunichi Dragons 1-0 on Tuesday night.

In the eighth, Nomi (6-7) allowed his only hit of the night, a single to Ryosuke Hirata, who led off the inning. Nomi struck out 13 and walked four over eight innings and closer Kyuji Fujikawa got his 25th save with a perfect ninth.

Nomi singled to right off Maximo Nelson (6-9) with runners at the corners in the second for the sole run. Chunichi was shut out for the second game in a row.
