Right-hander Eri "Knuckle Princess" Yoshida tossed three innings in her first outing of the 2011 North American Baseball League season as the Chico Outlaws defeated visiting Maui Na Koa Ikaika 8-4 on Friday.
Yoshida, who pitched for Chico last season, allowed three runs — two earned — and two hits, while walking five batters. She didn't record a strikeout.
She walked and scored a run in her lone plate appearance, helping the Outlaws win for the ninth time in their last 11 games.
