Former world champion Midori Ito placed second in a senior event in Oberstdorf, Germany on Saturday.
The 41-year-old landed a double axel en route to collecting 64.43 points in the Masters Elite section for 36- to 46-year-olds at the event authorized by the International Skating Union.
American Jan Calnan won with 69.97 points.
Ito, the 1989 world champion and 1992 Albertville Winter Olympic silver medalist, was the first woman to land a triple/triple jump combination and a triple axel in competition.
