Lotte's Shota Ishimine won a battle of No. 1 draft picks as the rookie outfielder belted his first career home run off the Hiroshima Carp's Yuya Fukui, a tie-breaking three-run shot that propelled the Marines to a 5-2 victory Sunday.

Ishimine, the Tokai University product held homerless through his first 36 games this season, took Fukui deep to the bleachers in left-center with one out and runners on the corners in the seventh of a 2-2 game at QVC Marine Field.

Ishimine's longball gave Yuki Karakawa, the starter for the Japan Series champions who entered the game with the Pacific League's lowest ERA, his fifth win of the year against two defeats.
