Pinch hitter Hiroshi Hirao singled in the go-ahead run in the top of the 11th inning as the Seibu Lions beat the Hanshin Tigers 2-1 on Sunday.
With runners on the corners and two outs, Hirao singled to left off Hiroyuki Kobayashi (0-2) at Koshien Stadium for his first hit of the season.
Jose Fernandez homered to give Seibu a 1-0 lead in the top of the sixth.
