Led by Michael Parker's 37-point effort, the Rizing Fukuoka defeated the visiting Shimane Susanoo Magic 88-75 in overtime in Game 2 of their first-round playoff series on Thursday.
The Rizing improved to 6-0 against Shimane, a bj-league expansion club, to advance to the Western Conference semifinals next weekend against the top-seeded Ryukyu Golden Kings.
Abdullahi Kuso added 18 points and 12 rebounds and Akitomo Takeno scored 13 points for Fukuoka, which outscored Shimane 14-1 in OT.
Reggie Golson paced the Magic (24-28) with 20 points, Jeral Davis had 17 and Takumi Ishizaki, Tatsuhiro Yokoo and Terry Evans all scored nine.
