Tokyo Apache point guard Byron Eaton, who drained a buzzer-beating 3-pointer near halfcourt on Tuesday and helped his club stretch its winning streak to four games a day later, is the Lawson/Ponta Player of the Week, the bj-league announced on Friday.
Eaton finished with 25 points, 19 in the fourth quarter, and six steals as Tokyo rallied from 19 points down to stun the visiting Osaka Evessa 85-84 in the series opener.
He scored a game-high 32 points, including 9-for-10 shooting from 2-point range, on Wednesday.
